The Médiofondo route of the 3 Ballons Chef de File will also set off from Ronchamp, 25 minutes after the Granfondo, for a 93km route including the following climbs: the Ballons de Servance (1216m), the Ballon d’Alsace (1,247m) and of course La Planche des Belles Filles, a short but tough finish with sections at over 15%. 

Come and take on the legendary Planche des Belles Filles at the very end of the route! Over the last few years, this climb has become one of the Tour de France’s must-see places, and one of the public’s favourite finishes! Its final ramp has often been the scene of unexpected surprises.

ACCESSIBILITY: The start in Ronchamp and the arrival at La Planche des Belles Filles are in nearby towns, so the return journey from La Planche can easily be done by bike. The route back to the departure point is either downhill or slightly downhill (a total of 14km from the foot of La Planche des Belles Filles and a 150m descent). You will have no trouble getting back to Ronchamp if that is where your vehicle is parked.
